A formal letter of application that addresses why the candidate is seeking this degree, how the program will help with the candidate’s professional duties and responsibilities, career goals (both short and long term), special qualities and characteristics the candidate brings to the program, how and when the candidate plans to utilize the degree and how the candidate’s personal and professional environments will be supportive in their quest for the doctoral degree

Names, addresses (office and e-mail) and telephone numbers of three individuals, and one (1) letter of recommendation from a University professor who can attest to the candidate’s ability to successfully complete a doctoral program

For applicants whose native language is not English, an acceptable score on the English proficiency examination (TOEFL) is required

Optional Interview (If requested by the admissions committee and may be conducted via telephone or face-to-face).
