Program Summary

​The Ed.D in educational technology leadership concentration is designed to prepares K-12 and higher education educators and administrators as well as those in business, industry, and government agencies to be leaders in the use of technology in education and training. The program will prepare technology leaders to model best practices in using technology in teaching, learning, training, and administration, to manage educational technology related projects, to conduct research in the field of educational technology, and to design technology-enhanced professional development or training. 

 

Course Format

Most courses are designed to be taught in a hybrid learning format, including face-to-face and online class meetings. To accommodate the busy schedule of the program candidates, face-to-face class meetings will be offered in the evening, during the weekend or in the summer.

 

Coursework-Credit Transfer

A maximum of 12 hours of approved coursework (max of 6 hours from the Master’s degree) may be transferred from other accredited institutions upon approval.
